Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN in July 2021, as CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In her new position she will cover all aspects of space, from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence to space tourism. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space, and she has since been a White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. In this time, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, two impeachment trials as well as two initiatives to end the pandemic coronavirus, in addition to two distinct administrations' efforts. She traveled extensively with both the President and Vice-President included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on along with Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won the Emmy Award for her work as the "one-man-band" reporter, before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin's expertise as a camerawoman has led her to create Field Mouse Films which specialized in making documentaries for clients of corporate nature, such as Uber Hotels & Resorts and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is an Bachelor of Science in Journalism, which she earned from Boston University. Her husband and three year-old daughter reside in Washington, D.C.
