Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is an Mexican American Sportscaster. She anchors SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. Since 2016, Collins has was a part of ESPN. She is the daughter of television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins has been a bilingual since she was nine years old, a valuable talent that enabled her to get her first job as a production assistant with Univision in Miami which gave her the chance to be a part of the production team for national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. Following this she was hired by the CBS subsidiary located in St. Petersburg employed her as a reporter for sports. Then she moved to Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to become a reporter at the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley, Texas in which she was a journalist for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. Also, she was a substitute for anchors of sports and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallasthe affiliate of Univision Dallas, and she is more responsible. She wrote on The NBA, Dallas Cowboys' postseason games, NBA ALDS ALCS World Series or Finals FC Dallas. In addition, she hosted Univision 23's local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra on which she served as the anchor herself. She was advertised as a sports anchor on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. The same role, she worked for Primer Impacto (a network magazine) as well as Contacto Deportivo (a UniMas Network sports channel). Antonietta Collin's parents originally hail from Veracruz Mexico. The girl was born on November 22nd the 22nd of November, 1984 in Mexico City. There is a sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and settled in Miami. In the course of a few months, her father divorced from her mother and she then remarried in 1995 a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo passed away from kidney cancer in 2006. It was on a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sister living in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered the job. As a senior at high school, but with a clear idea about what she wanted to pursue with her life Antonietta visited the University of Mount Union to determine if the school was suitable for her needs. It turned out that she loved the school and that they had the kind of program she was searching for. Following the completion of her high school education she was accepted into the university to study media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her professor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor of WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. Professor Bergmann was a great influence on her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
